Manestage’s ‘Narnia: The Musical’ opens at the Performing Arts Center St. Patrick’s Day

Starring Rylie Maxey as Lucy, Alex Schwendeman as Edmund, Tyler Rogers as Peter, Kayli Christine as Susan, Jonathan Fowles as Aslan and Courtney Sankey as the White Witch; ManeStage promises their production will be "a treat for the whole family" and fans of the work of C.S. Lewis.

ManeStage Theatre Company continues its’ fifth season with “Narnia: The Musical.” Narnia will be performed by a group of over 50 experienced, local storytellers and musicians.

Starring Rylie Maxey as Lucy, Alex Schwendeman as Edmund, Tyler Rogers as Peter, Kayli Christine as Susan, Jonathan Fowles as Aslan and Courtney Sankey as the White Witch; ManeStage promises their production will be “a treat for the whole family” and fans of the work of C.S. Lewis.

“Narnia: The Musical” will open March 17 at the Sumner Performing Arts Center located at 1707 Main St. in Sumner. Performances are scheduled for Saturday, March 17 at 7 p.m., Sunday, March 18 at 2 p.m., and the following weekends on Friday, March 23 at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 24 at 7 p.m., Sunday, March 25 at 2 p.m., Friday, March 30 at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 31 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and closes Sunday, April 1 at 2 p.m.

The show is directed and choreographed by ManeStage Theatre Company Executive Director Brenda S. Henson. The costumers are Judy Brooks and Jodi Josephson. Music direction is by Lindsay Delmarter.

Tickets are $18 for general admission, $15 for students, seniors (55+) and military and $10 for children 10 and younger. Please no children under 3 or babes in arms.
