“Kindie rock” group Recess Monkey will play Allan Yorke Park Tuesday, at 11 a.m., as part of the city’s Kids Club entertainment series.

Recess Monkey is a three-man band comprised of Seattle-area teachers Drew Holloway, Jack Forman and Korum Bischoff. Their songs bear the style of indie rock, but utilize child-friendly subject matter such as robots, sea creatures and spaceships. The group has released nine albums, the most recent of which is “Deep Sea Diver.”
