This Amazing House

I am my own guest house

And I am daily surprised

By my visitors.

Anguish…but she doesn’t

Visit much anymore but

When she does I welcome her

And ask her to share her story.

We talk about it and feel it.

Then laughter comes knocking

And we all three share

And soon anguish departs.

And inspiration shows up.

And off I am in my

Guest house seeking

New adventures.

I love my guest house.

I thank God for the opportunity to live in

This amazing house.

My temporary home.

Someday I and my guest, shall move off.
