Bride carries on wedding tradition

Rob and Tricia Wittner announce the marriage of their son, Curtis Justin Wittner, to Kelsey Kristine Gullaksen of Tualatin, Ore.

The couple married Aug. 16, 2008, in Portland, Ore., the fourth generation on the brides’ side to wed in the First Presbyterian Church.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of White River High School in Buckley and the bride is a 2003 graduate of Tualatin High School. They met while attending Pacific Lutheran University, where both earned degrees in 2007. The groom’s degree is in computer science and the bride’s degree is in exercise science and pre-athletic training.

Serving as maid of honor and attendants were the bride’s friends from Portland. The groom’s best man was his brother Josh Wittner; groomsmen were his brother Jake Wittner and the bride’s cousin.

The couple reside in Oregon.
