The Lions maintain first place in the East Division with a 5-0 record, while Enumclaw is second at 4-2. Both teams have already played each other twice and are scheduled to play a second game with each remaining league team before the end of the regular season.

Black Diamond woman airlifted to Harborview following early morning head-on collision
May 19 2011, 7:28 PM A 64-year-old woman from Black Diamond was airlifted to Harborview with serious injuries following a head-on collision at about 1 a.m. Thursday, May 19, on state Route 169 near 383rd Street outside of  Enumclaw.

According to a release from the state patrol, a white Chevrolet Tahoe driven by a 41-year-old Seattle woman was traveling north on SR 169 when it crossed over the centerline.

Police investigating death of husband and wife as a homicide-suicide case | Enumclaw Police
May 28 2011, 5:20 PM The Enumclaw Police Department reported officers are investigating two deaths as an alleged homicide-suicide case that occurred Friday evening, May 27.

The police department has released the names of the two, Zachary and Amy Erwin, both 42 years old.

According to the police the couple has children and they are with family members.
