Tomorrow night, Buckley City Council will choose one of three candidates to fill a vacancy until the 2013 election. The vacancy was left by Doug Harple, as he resigned dude to time conflicts with his job. The term for the candidate, once they are selected, will be 16 months in the Council. The three candidates are Brian Gillooly, John Leggett, and Marvin Sundstrom.

Beginning July 18, Army Corps of Engineers water managers for Mud Mountain Dam on the White River will slowly begin to increase flows in the White River following completion of repairs at the diversion dam near Buckley.
