My mother came to Washington for a pre-holiday visit. She was the kind of mom who decorated the entire house at Christmas. Putting ornaments on the tree, singing carols, making and decorating sugar cookies are a few of things she did with us when we were children that made this time of year magical for us. Four years ago, our holidays took a different spin.

The license of King County psychologist, Jonathan B. Wulf has been suspended for 10 years by state health officials. The final order suspending his license completes the legal process that started on November 12, 2015, with the immediate suspension of his license.

Police were told the afternoon of Jan. 2 of a possibly-impaired driver. The suspect were located at a Roosevelt Avenue location and arrested for DUI. The vehicle was impounded.

Police made contact at 1:40 a.m. June 27 with a city grocery store after learning a counterfeit $10 bill had been passed. The bill was taken and to be destroyed. There were no immediate suspects.

The owner of a Griffin Avenue property sought extra police patrol Jan. 5. Tenants had been evicted, but someone had repeatedly entered, made a mess and turned on the heat. The locks were to be changed and police agreed to check on things.

After taking a June 27 report of people camping at a Roosevelt Avenue location, police contacted a female and issued a no-trespassing letter. When she refused the letter, the woman was told she had to leave and would be arrested if she returned.
