Motorists cannot park the wrong way on city streets. A vehicle was ticketed April 7 for improper parking on Cole Street.

43 new ballot drop boxes proposed to county council | King County

In a plan to improve voter access and convenience, Director of Elections Julie Wise proposed 43 locations for ballot drop boxes to the King County Council. The King County Council approved funding for the ballot drop boxes earlier this year and required the Department of Elections to submit a proposed plan, that included a review of all King County and Seattle Public Libraries, by April 30, 2016

White River bridge to reopen three days early | Department of Transportation

The State Route 410 White River Bridge between Enumclaw and Buckley will reopen to traffic three days earlier than originally planned following a full closure for permanent repair work. The bridge will reopen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20.

Staff from a First Street business called police the evening of April 9. They wanted to bring furniture in for the night but a man was sitting on one of the tables and refusing to move. Upon police contact, the man agreed to depart.

A Warwick Street resident told police the morning of April 10 an automobile had been stolen. By that evening it had been recovered, in driveable condition, by Pierce County authorities. It was impounded by Graham Towing and the registered owner was notified.
