The owners of Leon’s Market and Deli, at 27909 state Route 410 in Buckley, are responsible for the installation of new left turn lanes onto the highway. The lanes are at an exit from the business’s parking lot and on the highway itself for the benefit of customers traveling eastbound on the road.
Customers leaving the business for locations in Buckley and beyond would regularly receive $411 tickets for making illegal left turns out of the lot, according to Leon’s employees.
The turn lanes were put in at the business’s expense. The owner in charge of the installation was out of country at press time and could not be reached for comment regarding the cost of the investment.
