EHS art club hosts dinner, auction
November 19, 2010 · 6:41 PM
The National Art Honor Society at Enumclaw High School isn’t wasting any time getting its name out in the community. The first-year club is hosting an art auction and dinner to raise funds to help expand visual art education at elementary schools.
The benefit is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 3 in the EHS commons. Tickets are $10 and can be pre-ordered through the club’s e-mail, ehs.nahs@yahoo.com.
The auction will feature artwork from regional and high school artists.
“There will be some student and some professional art,” said NAHS President Kaleigh Mitchell, who is heading up the event and tying it in with her DECA project as well. “Not all the items are art work, but many will be art-themed.”
