Sean Brasier recently became one of the 2 to 3 percent of Boy Scouts to earn the Eagle Scout rank.

Brasier, 17 of Enumclaw, earned the Boy Scout’s highest rank after completing his Eagle Scout project.

The Troop 422 member replaced the old, small sign at the Greenwater Lakes trail head with a large bulletin board for Forest Service personnel to use to post current information and warnings about the trail.

The trail is located approximately 10 miles up Forest Service Road 7 off state Route 410, just above Greenwater. Brasier was responsible for securing the materials from local businesses and donors and then assembling a group to build, haul and construct the board.

The Enumclaw High School senior plans to attend college in the fall and pursue his interest in the medicine.
