Enumclaw Police Reports April 19-20

FOUND MAILBOX: A white mailbox was found April 20 on the side of the road along Elmont Avenue. It was collected and stored for safekeeping.

SUSPECT FOUND: Police were told April 19 that a purse had been stolen from an Enumclaw workplace approximately three weeks earlier. The victim told police she had received information identifying a suspect who admitted to the theft and is currently residing in the Fife jail.

UNABLE TO LOCATE: Police took a report April 19 of a man hitting a woman inside a car in the vicinity of Rainier and Griffin avenues. The victim was reportedly bleeding from the head. Police searched the area but could not locate the vehicle.

ASSAULT CHARGE: A report of a fight in progress had police responding at 11:22 a.m. April 19 to a Cole Street address. A suspect was arrested and booked for fourth-degree assault.
