Black Diamond celebrates Labor Day

The tradition lives on as Black Diamond hosts its annual Labor Day celebration Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Events begin at 9 a.m. Saturday with a blood drive and continue through the evening, concluding with a family movie around 9:45 p.m.

Sunday kicks off with pie baking at 11 a.m. and games at noon. The annual citizenship awards will be handed out at 2 p.m.

A pancake breakfast opens Monday’s activity at 7 a.m. at the Diamond Lodge, followed by the parade at 10 a.m. Also listed on the day’s agenda are a car show, entertainment, museum tours and more games through about 4 p.m.
