Government buildings throughout the region will be closed Monday in observance of the Labor Day holiday, but trash haulers aren’t getting the day off.

In Enumclaw, garbage and recycling will be collected on its regular schedule and will not be affected by the holiday. Customers are reminded to have all receptacles available for pickup by 6 p.m.

For information, contact city shops at 360-825-5541.

Buckley’s trash collection is handled by a private firm, Murrey’s Disposal, which also takes care of garbage in Wilkeson, Carbonado, South Prairie and the unincorporated area between Buckley and Bonney Lake. Labor Day will not impact Murrey’s Disposal crews or customers, either on the holiday or the days following.
