Before the proposed annexation of land just north of Enumclaw’s city limits moves forward, members of the City Council will hear what residents have to say.
A public hearing regarding the 268th Annexation is on the agenda for the Oct. 24, regularly-scheduled meeting of the council. Things get under way at 7:30 p.m. in council chambers at Enumclaw City Hall, 1339 Griffin Ave.
In the works for the better part of a year, the annexation proposal involves a parcel sitting between two recent annexations. The acreage is east of state Route 169, north of McHugh Avenue, and extends north to Thunder Mountain Middle School.Contact Enumclaw Courier Herald Senior Writer, Editor Kevin Hanson at email@example.com or 360-802-8205.
