Before the proposed annexation of land just north of Enumclaw’s city limits moves forward, members of the City Council will hear what residents have to say.

A public hearing regarding the 268th Annexation is on the agenda for the Oct. 24, regularly-scheduled meeting of the council. Things get under way at 7:30 p.m. in council chambers at Enumclaw City Hall, 1339 Griffin Ave.

In the works for the better part of a year, the annexation proposal involves a parcel sitting between two recent annexations. The acreage is east of state Route 169, north of McHugh Avenue, and extends north to Thunder Mountain Middle School.
