Enumclaw’s annual Christmas parade, again sporting a “Who-ville” theme, will roll along Cole Street Saturday evening.
The parade kicks off at 6 p.m., covering Cole from Washington to Monroe streets.
Awards will be given for the Grinchiest float, best Cindy Lou-Who and best Who musical group. In addition, one float will win the Cheer Meister Award.
Entries will be accepted until the day of the parade. The entry fee is now $35.

Merchants offer evening shopping
More than 40 Enumclaw merchants and restaurants have banded together and will offer extended hours the next four Thursdays.
The weeks-long effort is being sponsored by EnumclawBusiness.com. The local company lists more than 500 area businesses, by category, for free.
“We are all a little tired when we get home from work but walking through downtown Enumclaw, visiting with folks and sipping some warm cider in December may just be that refreshing thing we have been looking for,” stated a press release issue by the sponsor.
