Buckley firefighters battling house fire on Third Street

February 8, 2012 · Updated 2:10 PM

Flames and columns of smoke were clearly visible from state Route 410 and traffic was closed off to one Buckley neighborhood Wednesday as firefighters battled a blaze that appears to have gutted a Third Street home.

Initial reports are that no one was present when flames claimed both the single-family home and an attached carport.

Buckley firefighters, receiving help from neighboring departments, battled the blaze from all sides.
