Man dies in hiking accident at Rattlesnake Ledge | King County Sheriff's Office

A 32 year old man was killed Friday night when he fell down a cliff while hiking on the Rattlesnake Ledge hiking trail.

The King County Sheriff’s Office received a call around 4:45 p.m. from another hiker on the trail who saw the man fall. The witness hiked down the 300 foot embankment and found the man dead.

King County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue members arrived and confirmed that the man was dead at the scene. The Sheriff’s Office believes the man was hiking alone when the accident occurred.

The victim’s name is being withheld until family members can be notified.
