Update | Enumclaw police arrest 39-year-old man for alleged first degree rape of a child | Breaking News

Enumclaw Police today (Tuesday, March 20) arrested an adult male for the Crime of Rape of a Child First Degree.

Detectives received information from Child Protective Services (CPS) of inappropriate contact between an adult male and juvenile female which occurred seven years ago while the adult male lived with the family.

During the course of the investigation probable cause was established for the arrest of the 39-year-old male suspect.

The suspect will be taken to the King County Regional Justice Center (RJC) where he will be formally charged.

The investigation is ongoing.
