Update: Malcolm J. Fraser is scheduled for a first appearance/bail hearing at 2:30 p.m. today, Thursday, in Courtroom GB at the Regional Justice Center in Kent. The Courier-Herald will be updating this story as court documents become available.
The following is a press release issued at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, by the Enumclaw Police Department.
Malcolm J. Fraser, 39, was booked into the King County RJC today on charges of Rape of a Child 1st Degree. Fraser will be held without bail pending appearance in front of the District Court Judge.
The following is a press release issued at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, by the Enumclaw Police Department.
Enumclaw Police today arrested an adult male for the Crime of Rape of a Child 1st Degree.
Detectives received information from Child Protective Services (CPS) of inappropriate contact between an adult male and juvenile female which occurred 7 years ago while the adult male lived with the family.
During the course of the investigation probable cause was established for the arrest of the 39 year old male suspect.
The suspect will be taken to the King County Regional Justice Center (RJC) where he will be formally charged.
The investigation is still ongoing.
