Washington State Patrol looking for witnesses of fatal motorcycle collision

Just before 4 a.m. on Feb. 20, a report of a possible motorcycle collision was reported on the southbound Interstate 5 ramp to eastbound Interstate 90.

A motorcycle was located on ramp and its rider on the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 beneath the ramp.  The motorcycle rider later died from his injuries. The exact time of the collision is unknown.

The Washington State Patrol
is searching for witnesses that may have observed any motorcycle traveling in the area near that time.  Anyone who observed the motorcycle or other potential witnesses on the overpass or roadway beneath are asked to contact Trooper Julie Startup at julie.startup@wsp.wa.gov or (425) 401-7722.
