Enumclaw voters will decide April 17 whether to allow the King County Library System to annex the city library.

The pro-library annexation proposition on the special election ballot increased its lead to 31 today following the latest posting from King County Elections.

The yes votes supporting the annexation of the Enumclaw Library by the King County Library System came in at 1,194 votes, 50.66 percent and the no at 1,163, 49.34 percent.

The votes yesterday were 25 votes separating the yes from the no votes, with yes leading.

On election night the yes side was leading by 22 votes and it dropped to 14 Wednesday.
