Two hurt during Thursday morning crash on SR 169

Two Plateau residents, a woman from Carbonado and a man from Buckley, were injured during a Thursday morning automobile accident.

According to a Washington State Patrol report, the incident occurred on state Route 169 at Southeast 383rd Street. The time of the accident was listed as 5:49 a.m.

According to the WSP, a 2006 Saturn Ion driven by Elizabeth Holland crossed the centerline and struck a 2005 midsize Chevrolet pickup driven by Jason Andrews. Holland was traveling south and Andrews was northbound at the time.

Holland, 28, was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and Andrews, 31, was taken to Auburn Regional Medical Center.
