An Enumclaw City Council quorum met Wednesday, May 23, in a special session to consider a resolution supporting a community development block grant for the senior center.
Resolution No. 1456 was passed unanimously by the four council members present, Glen JensenDickson, Darrel Dickson, Kevin Mahelona and Chance La Fleur.
The other three members were excused.
The $98,990 will be used for repairs and upgrades to the center including electrical, plumbing and an American Disabilities Act accessible door.
The grant application is due June 1, which is why the members needed to meet in a special session to meet the deadline.
