Washington state Democrats 2012 state convention begins today

Newark Mayor Cory Booker headlines Friday evening's Gala Banquet, as the Washington State Democrats hold the 2012 State Convention June 1-3 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle. Oregon Congressman Peter DeFazio will also join the convention as the keynote speaker on Saturday.
Two days of forums, committee meetings, and floor activity will culminate in the final selection of delegates from the national convention in Charlotte in September.

Welcome Reception: Friday, June 1, 5:00-6:30pm
Convention Gala Banquet: Friday, June 1, 6:30-8:30pm (Mayor Corey Booker)
Convention: Saturday, June 2, 9:00am-6:00pm (Congressman Peter DeFazio and Washington State Democrats)
