Stabbing victim found on SR 410 | East Pierce Fire and Rescue

East Pierce Fire and Rescue crews treated and transported a man who had been stabbed and thrown from a moving vehicle onto state Route 410 East, Tuesday night. The firefighters responded to reports of an injured man on the shoulder of the eastbound lanes between Traffic and Valley Avenues, just before 11 p.m.

The man was transported to an area trauma center with life threatening injuries.

One lane of the highway was closed for a time as Washington State Patrol and the Sumner Police Department investigated.
