Monday, June 11

 

Metropolitan King County Council – 9:00 a.m. ***Special Meeting Time and Location*** Seattle Labor Temple—Hall One, 2800 First Avenue, Seattle

  • Representatives from King County’s labor community will meet with members at the Council's annual Labor Summit.
Committee of the Whole—1:30 p.m. ***Special Meeting***
Briefing:
  • A motion making an appointment to fill the vacancy in the 5th Legislative District of the Washington state Senate (Motion 2012-0223).

 

King County Flood Control District—2:00 p.m. ***Special Meeting***

Supervisors will discuss and possibly act on:

  • A resolution authorizing the condemnation of certain property for the Reddington Levee Setback Project (Resolution FCD2012-06).

 

Metropolitan King County Council – Immediately following King County Flood Control District meeting

--Members will recognize June 15, 2012 as Elder Abuse Awareness Day in King County
Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:
  • Executive’s proposed 2013 Sewer Rate and Capacity Charge (Ordinance 2012-0144).
  • A motion directing the Executive to implement potential strategies in support of active trail linkages as a means of connecting regional trails with regional points of interest (Motion 2012-0190).
  • A motion making an appointment to fill the vacancy in the 5th Legislative District of the Washington state Senate (Motion 2012-0223).
Tuesday, June 12

 

Government Accountability, Oversight and Financial Performance Committee –Canceled

 

Law, Justice and Health and Human Services Committee – 1:30 p.m.

Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:
  • An ordinance authorizing an interlocal agreement with the city of Seattle to clarify the duties of local law enforcement agencies with respect to the streetcar operations and maintenance (Ordinance 2012-0189).
