Fireworks sales and use ends | State Fire Marshal

State Fire Marshal Charles M. Duffy announced that the sale and use period for consumer fireworks concludes today, Tuesday, July 5, 2012 at 11:00 pm.  The next legal period for sales and use will not occur until December.

Fireworks sales begin at noon on December 27, 2012 and end at 11:00 pm on December 31, 2012.  Discharging of fireworks is then legal from 6:00 pm December 31, 2012 until 1:00 am on January 1, 2013.

State Fire Marshal Duffy wants to remind everyone that, “Personal fireworks require personal responsibility.”  Be safe.
