League of Women Voters of Washington launches VOTE411.org

As Primary Election ballots hit mailboxes, The League of Women Voters of Washington announced the launch of the nonpartisan election resource VOTE411.org.

This “one-stop-shop” for statewide election information provides simple, helpful tools to help Washington voters navigate the voting process.

“Candidate information, voting tips, voter registration and much more are available at your fingertips,” saidLinnea Hirst, Co-President.  “You can enter your address, see everything that will be on your ballot, and easily compare candidates. It’s convenient, easy and invaluable for voters who want reliable information about voting in Washington.”

Nationally, the League of Women Voters has served tens of millions of voters, many of them young people and first-time voters, through this online service. The League of Women Voters Washington Education Fund and Wyncote Foundation NW made VOTE411.org possible for Washington voters.

“Voters don’t typically receive a printed Primary Election voters’ guide, so the best thing we can all do is urge everyone to prepare by visiting VOTE411.org. And, of course, remind everyone to get registered and vote in the upcoming elections,” concluded Hirst. “The League of Women Voters is committed to ensuring voters have all the information they need to participate in elections and making every vote count.”
