State Sen. Pam Roach, R, Auburn, was recently elected delegate to the National Republican Convention to be held next week in Tampa, Florida.
“This will be my first National Republican Convention,” Roach said. “As an at-large delegate it is an honor to represent Republicans across the state.”

The Washington State Delegation will be housed in Clearwater, Florida. There will be a forty-five minute commute to the convention site. The schedule is filled with breakfasts, lunches and political speeches during the convention which will begin Monday and go through Thursday night.
“With delegates and alternates, our delegation is slightly over ninety people.” Each delegate and alternate may be accompanied by one guest.
“We will have quite a representation for Washington State.” “I’ll begin posting to my blog and Tweeting upon arriving in Florida,” said Roach.
