Collision near Wilkeson closed Johns Road | East Pierce Fire and Rescue
A collision occurred just before 3 p.m. on state Route 165 and Johns Road at the entrance of Wilkeson.
Two vehicles involved—a flatbed truck carrying a load of lumber and a full-size sedan.
It appeared that the sedan T-boned the truck, spilling the lumber all over Johns Road. The driver of each vehicle was transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. No one else involved in the crash.
SR 165 remained open. Johns Road was closed until 4 p.m. while East Pierce Fire and Rescue firefighters picked up the lumber.
