General election logic and accuracy test tomorrow | King County Elections

King County Elections will perform logic and accuracy testing on ballot counting and processing equipment 1 p.m. omorrow, Oct. 23 at the King County Elections headquarters, 919 SW Grady Way in Renton. Members of the media are welcome to attend.

Logic and accuracy testing is a standard pre-election procedure. King County Elections conducts the testing to ensure that tabulation hardware and software functions properly, and is accurately programmed for each election. Following the test, Elections will lock and seal all of the equipment for use in the general election on Nov. 6.

Members of the media who plan to observe should contact Elections in advance of the testing to expedite the check-in process.
