November 29, 2012 · Updated 4:12 PM

The Enumclaw Food Bank is hoping to collect a "Mile of Food" before the city's Christmas parade this Saturday.

Sponsored by Cresecenbt Masonic Lodge No. 109, Enumclaw Kiwanis Club and the Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce, the challenge has been put out to the citizens to help those who are struggling this holiday season.

The Enumclaw Food Bank served 1,754 people in October.

Those looking to contribute to the mile of food drive can drop off canned food donations between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday at the Chamber of Commerce office, 1421 Cole St., Enumclaw.

For more information or to volunteer, contact the Chamber at 360-825-7666.
