Second call results in assault arrest | Enumclaw police reports Dec. 9

DOMESTIC: Police responded at 7:30 p.m. Dec 9 to a Grand Fir Drive residence and a report of a domestic dispute involving an intoxicated man who was refusing to leave. He departed shortly before police arrived and could not be located. The woman involved in the dispute was advised to call police again should the man return. A second call came less than an hour later, with the victim stating the man had assaulted her and left the house on foot. He was found nearby and taken into custody for fourth-degree assault.
TWO CHARGES: A traffic stop at 1:30 a.m. Dec. 9 resulted in the driver arrested for investigation of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license. The vehicle was impounded.
FELONY WARRANT: A woman arrived at the police station lobby the afternoon of Dec. 9, asking to speak with an officer. It was determined she was wanted on a King County arrest warrant and was turned over to county authorities.
