Suspect wanted on Tacoma warrant | Enumclaw police reports Dec. 16

ARREST MADE: Police responded the morning of Dec. 16 to a Railroad Street address after hearing of two men leaving a vacant house with bags of wire. After making contact, an officer arrested one of the men for providing a false statement; the suspect also was found to be wanted on a felony arrest warrant issued by Tacoma. The man was taken tot he police station for booking.
DRUNK DRIVER: A traffic stop at 1:09 a.m. Dec. 16 in the vicinity of Loraine Street and Griffin Avenue resulted in a motorist arrested and booked for driving under the influence. The vehicle was impounded. The driver was released after posting bail.
