One confirmed dead in Spiketon Road crash

Spiketon Road on Buckley's south side continues to be blocked Wednesday afternoon, following a fatal, one-vehicle accident.

Buckley fire/EMT personnel and Buckley police were dispatched to the scene shortly before 2:30 p.m.

Details are sketchy, but Fire Chief Alan Predmore confirmed one person was killed as a result of the crash. It was a pickup that was involved.

The crash occurred in a windy stretch of Spiketon Road.
