What Happened at the Metropolitan King County Council Monday, January 28

At today’s Council meeting, Councilmembers:
- · Unanimously adopted an ordinance approving a new public health clinic lease to provide continuing public health services in the Renton area (Substitute Ordinance 2013-0011.2).
Introduction of ordinances and motions for Committee action:
- · An ordinance authorizing the approval of the Medic One/Emergency Medical Services 2014-2019 Strategic Plan (Ordinance 2013-0016). The ordinance was sent to the Law, Justice, Health and Human Services Committee for consideration.
On Wednesday, Jan. 30, the Council’s Committee of the Whole will hold a special meeting to discuss:
- · A motion making an appointment to fill the vacancy in King County Council District 1 (Motion 2013-0055). Committee members will interview the three candidates submitted by the County Executive. No action will be taken.
