The newspaper reported Thomas will begin work June 24.

Thomas has been Enumclaw's city administrator since 2010 and served as director of the city's Department of Community and Economic Development for five years prior to that. He came to Enumclaw from King County government, where he was a policy analyst in the executive's office.
