Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:

·       An ordinance adding a new section entitled “Department of Public Defense” to the King County Charter, creating a Department of Public Defense and an appointed office with the title of “County Public Defender” (Substitute Ordinance 2013-0212.2).


Tuesday, July 2


Transportation, Economy and Environment Committee – 9:30 a.m.



·       Implementation of the King County Strategic Climate Action Plan: Energy (Briefing No. 2013-B0081).



Budget and Fiscal Management Committee – 1:30 p.m.

Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:

·       An ordinance making a supplemental appropriation to various general fund and non-general fund agencies and amending the 2013 Budget Ordinance (Ordinance 2013-0258).


Wednesday, July 3


Committee of the Whole – Canceled


Regional Water Quality Committee – 3:00 p.m. **Special Meeting Location***

The Committee will meet in the Southwest Conference Room, 12th Flr., King County Courthouse
