Metropolitan King County Council – 1:30 p.m.

Councilmembers will hear public testimony during their monthly public comment period. Speakers will have two minutes to address Councilmembers on matters relating to county government.


Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:

• A motion accepting the assessment report and implementation plans of the integration of the Departments of Community and Human Services and Public Health-Seattle and King County (Motion 2013-0303).

Government Accountability and Oversight Committee – 9:30 a.m.

Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:


• An ordinance relating to taxis, for-hire vehicles and drivers (Ordinance 2013-0019).

• A motion acknowledging receipt of a report detailing the methodology by which the King County television station will be upgraded to high-definition and full digital capabilities (Motion 2013-0307).



• Wave/Comcast Cable Franchise Agreement Update (Briefing No. 2013-B0126).



Law, Justice and Health and Human Services Committee – 1:30 p.m.



• An ordinance relating to how the County will honor civilian immigration hold requests from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for individuals in the custody of the Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention (Ordinance 2013-0285).

The Committee will hear public testimony on this item.

Budget and Fiscal Management Committee

– 1:30 p.m. ***Special Meeting***

Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:


• An ordinance approving seven emergency medical services interagency lease renewal agreements to provide continuing service to Council Districts 5, 7 and 9 (Ordinance 2013-0319).

King County Ferry Board Executive Committee– 10:00 a.m. ***Special Meeting Location*** Committee will meet in the Great Basin Conference Room, Room 553, King County Administration Building, 500 4th Ave.,
