Learn to protect against identity theft at Buckley Pierce County Library

People will learn how to protect themselves against identity theft during a free event 11 a.m. at Buckley Pierce County Library, 123 S. River Ave., on Saturday, Oct. 19.
Shredding from 12 to 2 p.m.
Expert Lyn Peters, from the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions, will share how to protect against fraud and identity theft.
The event also includes free document shredding. People are encouraged to bring junk mail, pre-authorized credit mail and any other documents they don’t want to get into the wrong hands.
