DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Police responded twice Nov. 16 to a Grand Fir Drive address. The first time was due to an unwanted subject at the home and a trespass letter was served. A little more than an hour later police returned after hearing of an assault. A suspect was arrested and booked.

DRUNK DRIVER: Police were told at 2:05 a.m. March 14 of a vehicle parked in the middle of the intersection of Farrelly Street and Roosevelt Avenue. An officer contacted the driver, who was arrested for driving under the influence and taken to the police station for booking. His vehicle was impounded.

VEHICLE ABANDONED: Police were asked March 14 to help locate a vehicle that had been involved in both mail theft and a hit-and-run incident. The vehicle was last seen heading westbound on state Route 410 at a high rate of speed. The abandoned vehicle was found about an hour later by Washington State Patrol troopers at a residence on 284th Avenue Southeast. The incident was to be handled by the WSP and Piece County authorities.

PARAPHERNALIA: A citizen arrived in the police station lobby March 13, turning over drug paraphernalia to be destroyed.
