--Councilmembers will proclaim the week of May 12-17 as National Police Week in King County.

Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:

• A motion accepting the mental illness and drug dependency sixth annual report (Motion 2014-0149).

• A motion requiring the executive to develop and submit for council review and approval a report on improving programs and services for incarcerated veterans in department of adult and juvenile detention jail facilities (Motion 2014-0159).

• A motion addressing income inequality with the establishment and implementation of a living wage policy for King County (Motion 2014-0058).

 

King County Ferry District—Immediately following the meeting of the Metropolitan King County Council ***Special Meeting***

Supervisors are scheduled to discuss and possible act on:

• A resolution relating to the King County Ferry District’s 2013 financial statements and adopting the King County Ferry District Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2013 (Resolution FD2014-03).
