DOMESTIC SITUATION: A reported domestic dispute had officers responding to a River Avenue address the evening of July 3. After interviewing both people involved, police determined the man had pushed the woman and thrown keys at her, which left a mark on her leg. The man was arrested for fourth-degree assault and booked into a nearby  jail.

CUSTODY ISSUE: Police were dispatched July 2 to a state Route 410 location after hearing of a custody dispute involving a 4-year-old child. A man at the scene had papers signed by a Pierce County Superior Court judge giving him temporary custody, so the child left with the father.

NOT WANTED: After hearing July 2 of an unwanted guest, police responded to a state Route 410 location where they found an intoxicated woman. Staff said the woman was not wanted on the property so a trespass letter was filled out and she departed willingly.

DUI AND MORE: Shortly before midnight July 2, police observed a Bonney Lake man throwing fireworks from his vehicle. After stopping the automobile, police found the man to be intoxicated. He was arrested for driving under the influence and discharging dangerous fireworks. He was processed and released without incident.
