FOUR-CAR CRASH: A four-car collision occurred the morning of July 5 at the intersection of state Route 410 and Jefferson Avenue. There were no injuries and all four vehicles were driven from the scene. The at-fault driver was cited for following too close.

COMMITTED: Officers responded at 8:39 p.m. July 5 to a call regarding an unwanted person at a Division Street address. They encountered a man who allegedly had assaulted another man. During the investigation, the suspect became hostile and threatened to kill himself. After the suspect injured himself, police had him involuntarily committed to a nearby hospital for evaluation. Officers completed the investigation and determined the suspect was responsible for both an assault and harassment. He was to be cited through the mail on those charges.

DRUNK DRIVER: Police stopped a vehicle just after midnight July 5 due to erratic lane travel. They discovered the motorist, a 24-year-old  Enumclaw woman, was intoxicated. She was arrested for driving under the influence, given a ride to Bonney Lake and released.

DOMESTIC SITUATION: A reported domestic dispute had officers responding to a River Avenue address the evening of July 3. After interviewing both people involved, police determined the man had pushed the woman and thrown keys at her, which left a mark on her leg. The man was arrested for fourth-degree assault and booked into a nearby  jail.
