King County’s mobile medical unit in Enumclaw

King County’s mobile medical unit is in Enumclaw Wednesday, July 16, offering services to those in need.

The mobile unit and staff will be parked from 9 a.m. to noon at Plateau Outreach Ministries at the corner of Cole Street and Marshal Avenue.

The program provides medical, dental and mental health resources for homeless, near-homeless and “doubled-up” families.

On July 23, the state’s Department of Social and Health Services will arrive at POM with its Division of Child Support staff. The DSHS crew will be available from 9 a.m. to noon to answer questions and help those desiring agency services.

During the DSHS visit, people can apply for cash assistance, basic food assistance and child care services. Visitors to the DSHS van also can drop off paperwork; complete an eligibility review or mid-certification review; or make changes to an existing case.
