Seahawks game and Seattle Hempfest traffic congestion - plan ahead | WSDOT

Those Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks will make their first home appearance since winning the Lombardi Trophy when they play a preseason game at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15 against the San Diego Chargers.

No doubt the offensive line will provide plenty of blocking and the Legion of Boom should present a tough road for the Charger offense, but to try to avoid similar trouble of your own, plan ahead, leave early and know that CenturyLink Field is going to be packed.

Meanwhile, along the Seattle waterfront, Seattle Hempfest runs from Friday to Sunday at various locations. It’s always busy with plenty of traffic for the event so again, be prepared, plan ahead and be safe out there!
