The skies stayed clear Friday evening - for the opening ceremonies, at least - as a larger-than-anticipated number of teams turned out for this year's Relay For Life in Enumclaw. The event returned to the grounds of J.J. Smith Elementary, making a

switch from the downtown site used the past couple of years. The photos at right and below were taken during the team walk; at lower right, the event was kicked off by a group of

cancer survivors who circled the track.
