The Buckley Chamber of Commerce will sponsor its Fall Festival Saturday to return Buckley's Main Street to city residents, who suffered through most of the summer without a downtown corridor.

Ironically, the city will be closing Main Street, pending authorization by the city council to do so, to accommodate vendor booths and (weather permitting) sidewalk sales by local merchants.

The grand re-opening should be an enjoyable event for all who attend, especially kids, said Chamber of Commerce president Rebecca Esser. She said there is a good possibility that some of the food vendors present at this summer's Log Show would return for Saturday's event. Additionally there will be hayrides, daycare and free balloons available for the kids.
