Young loggers strut their stuff and shine in show

Just like the big boys and girls, more than 150 kids ages 3 to 17 competed in the Buckley Junior Log Show at the Log Show Grounds June 19.

For years, the tradition of the Junior Log Show enables kids to participate in many of the same activities the adults participate in at the Buckley Log Show like choker setting and horizontal block chop.

This year's winners are:

Wooden Ax Toss

Ages 3 to 5 - 1. Ethan Gunsauls, 69 feet, 6 inches; 2. Corey Smith, 56-5; 3. Paul Inglin, 49-7.

Age 6 to 7 - 1. Joe Inglin, 94-6; 2. Hunter Ford, 93-0; 3. Bradley Flanders, 84-6.
